Crankshaft Balancer Installation
Tools Required: 23523-F Crankshaft Balancer Installer Inspect: 1.Crankshaft balancer weight for signs of shifting on the hubReplace the crankshaft balancer if the weight has shifted2Crankshaft balancer hub sealing surfaces for grooves, nicks, or damageReplace the crankshaft balancer if any of the above conditions existThe inertial weight section of the crankshaft balancer is assembled to the hub with rubber materialYou must follow the installation procedures carefully, using the proper tool, or movement of the inertial weight section of the hub will destroy the tuning of the crankshaft balancerInstall or Connect: 3Use small amount of GM Adhesive, P.iN 12345739, to seal the balancer key to the crankshaft keyway groove4Key into the crankshaft keyway, if the key has been removedDRC6892
