2Oil pan against cylinder block
3Slide oil pan back against straight edge using 34673 or equivalent
4Oil pan bolts and nuts but do not tighten
Measure:
[] Use feeler gauge to check the ciearance between the three oil pan-to-transrrission bell housing contact points as shownIf clearance exceeds 0.010 in(O,254 mm) at any of the three points repeat steps and until the clearance is within specification
If the clearance is more than 0.010 in(0,254 mm), powertrain durability may be affected
