Valve Train The valve train is ball-pivot typeMotion is transmitted from the camshaft through the valve lifter and valve push rod to the valve rocker armThe valve rocker arm pivots on its ball and transmits the camshaft motion to the valveThe valve lifters with roller followers keep all parts of the valve train in constant contactEach lifter acts as an automatic adjuster and maintains zero lash in the valve trainThis eliminates the need for periodic valve adjustment
Intake Manifold
The intake manifold assembly is two-piece designThe upper portion is made from composite material and lower portion is cast-aluminumThe throttle body attaches to the upper manifold
Tools and Shop Equipment
