Installation 1Thoroughly clean the manifold and elbow gasket surfacesApply Volvo Penta Gasket Sealing Compound or c:::tv'K:: Gasket Sealing Compound to both sides two new gasketsSandwich the restrictor plate between the two new gasketsThe slot in the restrictor plate should be positioned out away from the engine blockPlace the gaskets and restrictor plate on the manifold
2Mount the elbow on the manifoldInstal! the throttle anchor bracket, and secure with the two screws and the two nuts and lock washers .Tighten all four to 12-14 f1Ibs(16-19 Nm)Slide the exhaust hose aU the way onto the elbow3Install hose fitting on the inside of elbow and connect cooling hose
