Rear Main Bearing Oil Seal Replacement
Care should be taken when removing the rear crankshaft oil seal so as not to nick the crankshaft sealing surface
1.lnsert screwdriver into the notches provided in the seal retainer and pry the seal outTake care not to damage the crankshaft sealing surface
2Inspect chamfer on crankshaft for grit, loose rust, and burrsClean seal running surface on the crankshaft with non-abrasive cleaner
3Lubricate the inner and outer diameter of new seal with engine oilInstall the seal on J-35621Position J-35621 against the crankshaftThread the attaching screws into the tapped holes in the crankshaft
