Measure:
Whenever the camshaft needs to be replaced, a
new set of valve roller lifters must also be installed
rn Engine Specifications in
1Camshaft journal diameters using micrometerCompare the proper engine repair section
2Camshaft runoutMount the camshaft in V-blocks or between centersUsing 7872, check the intermediate camshaft journalCompare camshaft runout specifications in the proper engine repair sectionIf the camshaft is excessively bent, replace
the camshaft and camshaft bearings
