DO NOT RUN ENGINE AT CONSTANT RPM FOR PROLONGED PERIODS OF TIME DURING THE BREAK-IN PERIODDuring break-in period, be particularly observant during initial running of engine, as foUows: 1Check crankcase oil level frequentlyMaintain oil level in safe range, between "add" and "full" marks on dipstickINotellf you have problem getting good oil level reading on dipstick, rotate dipstick 1800 in tube2Watch oil pressure gaugeIf indicator fluctuates whenever boat attitude (i.eturning, climbing on plane, etc is changed, it may be the oil pickup screen is not covered with oilCheck crankcase dipstick, and add oil to crankcase if requiredDO NOT OVERFILlIf oil level is correct and condition still exists, check for possible gauge or oil pump malfunction INote Oil

pressure will rise as RPM increases, and fal! as RPM decreasesIn addition, cold oil will generally show higher oil pressure for any specific RPM than hot oilBoth of these conditions reflect normal engine operation3Watch engine temperature indicator to be sure there is proper water circulation
