4Apply Low temperature lithium soap base grease (to bearing inner surface) 5Tighten: Bearing holder nut: 22 Nm (2.2 kg, 16 ft Ib) Bearing holder bolt: 27 Nm (2.7 kg, 20 ft Ib) Relay rod nut: 43 Nm (4.3 kg, 31 ft Ib)
Bend the lockwashertop along the bolts and nuts flats
Always use new lock washer and cotter pin
6Adjust: skis Adjustment steps: Temporarily install the handlebar Hold the handlebar straight, and check to see that the skis are at right angles to the handlebar Loosen the locknuts (steering relay rod) CD Direct the skis in parallel to the moving direction With the skis thus, turn the relay rod either way to adjust the handlebars at right angles with respect to the direction of movementTurning the relay rod in direction Turning the relay rod in derection The handlebars move in direction The handlebars move in direction
