Loosen the six sheave-cap boltsRemove the sheave sub-assembly tool, and remove the sheave cap
CInspection 1Inspect the tapered ends of the crankshaft and the primary fixed sheave for scartchesIf either is severely scratched, replace itIf scratches are minor, burnish he component with emerly cloth2Check the primary sheave cap bushing and the sliding sheave bushing for wearIf worn beyond tolerance, replace the bushingUse the bushing tool if bushing is difficult to removeBushing tool: YS-01883 90890-01883-00
