Electrical Test
When depressing the STARTRER button, the fuel pump should run for seconds to build up the pressure in the systemIf the pump does not work, disconnect the plug connector from the fuel pumpInstall temporary connector to the fuel pump connectorApply 12 (+) on pin and () on pin to this test harnessIf pump does not run, replace the fuel pump moduleOtherwise, probe pin and battery ground of fuel pump connector on vehicle harness sideWhen depressing the STARTRER button, you should read battery voltage for approximately seconds (then, the voltage will drop)If battery voltage does not appear, the problem can be in fuse, relay(s), harness or in fuel pump connectorRepair or replace appropriate partCheck continuity between pin of the fuel pump connector on the vehicle harness side and terminal 29 of the ECM connector BIf there is no continuity the problem is in the harnessOtherwise, try new ECM
