Section 10 STEERINGFRONT SUSPENSION Subsection 01 (STEERING SYSTEM)
TOE-OUT ADJUSTMENT Raise front of vehicle so that skis are off the groundLoosen lock nuts of long tie rods and turn each tie rod so that skis are in straight ahead positionTo adjust toe-out, slightly turn both tie rods exactly the same amountMake sure external threaded length not engaged is not too long and torque nuts as specified above
NOTE: To make sure skis are in straight-ahead position, place straight edge against pre-adjusted track and measure distance between front and rear of skis and straight edgeMeasurements are taken 200 mm (8 in) at rear and front of ski pivot boltDistances should be equalAfter ski toeout adjustment, distance at front of ski must be 3.0 mm (18 in) more than at rear on both sides for total toe-out of mm (14 in)
