Removal
Lock crankshaft with crankshaft locking tool (PN 529 035 900) (refer to CRANKSHAFT LOCKING TOOL)Remove: ignition cover (refer to COOLING SYSTEM) oil pump gears no24 (refer to LUBRICATION SYSTEM) crankshaft nut no9 crankshaft drive gear no7Remove crankshaft drive gear with gear puller (aftermarket tool)Also use the protection mushroom (PN 420 876 552) to avoid damage of the crankshaft
