CAUTION: For this assembly, stretch screws are usedAs the screws have been stretched from the previous installation, it is very important to use new screws at assemblyFailure to replace screws and to strictly follow the torque procedure may cause screws to loosen and lead to engine damage Torque rocker arm shaft screws to 10 Nm (88 lbfin) Torque rocker arm shaft screws to 20 Nm (177 lbfin) Finish tightening screws turning an additional 90 rotation with torque angle gauge
Replace any part that shows excessive wear
Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedurePay attention to the following detailsCAUTION: Make sure to observe the correct matching of rocker arm shaft and rocker armWhen installing the components, make sure they are fitted exactly in their original position on their respective cylinder headAny inversion of the components may cause damage to the engineNOTE: At assembly, position the cylinder to ignition TDCThis will ensure stress-free installation of the rocker arm shaftApply engine oil on rocker arm shaftPosition the rocker arm shaft with the notches on top
