Inspect water pump gear for wear and damage on the snap mechanism to the needle pinReplace if damagedWater pump shaft with rotary seal must rotate freelyOtherwise, replace itNOTE: When removing water pump shaft, always replace together retaining ring, oil seal, water pump shaft with rotary seal with new parts
1Oil seal for the water pump shaft 2Oil seal pusher (PN 529 035 757) 3Handle for insertion jig (PN 420 877 255)
Install the water pump shaft assembly using the water pump ceramic seal installer (PN 529 035 766)CAUTION: Never use hammer for the rotary seal installationOnly use press to avoid damaging the ceramic component2
