NOTE: flow chart has been prepared as visual referenceSee last page of this chapterUsing flow chart and following text, pressurize area to be tested and spray soapy solution at the indicated locationTEST PRESSURE: 34 KPA (5 PSI) FOR MINUTES

Install vacuumpressure pump (PN 529 021 800) on exhaust plugNOTE: If necessary, lubricate vacuumpressure pump (PN 529 021 800) piston with mild soapCAUTION: Using hydrocarbon lubricant (such as engine oil) will damage rubber seal of pump piston
If there is leak at the tested location, it is recommended to continue testing next items before overhauling engineThere is possibility of more than one leak If there is no leak at the tested location, continue pumping to maintain pressure and continue with next items until leak is found
