Section 03 ENGINES (2-STROKE) Subsection 03 (593 AND 593 HO SDI ENGINES)
Heat up the bearing(s) using bearing heater (PN 529 035 969)This will expand bearings and ease installationIf required, put suitable plate or shim to avoid the direct contact between integrated seal and the heating surface
Probe the inner race of the bearing with the temperature indicator stick (PN 529 035 970)Stick will liquefy when the bearing reach the proper temperature

CAUTION: Bearing should not be heated to more than 80C (176F)Do not heat bearing with direct flame or heat gun or heated oilInappropriate heating procedure(s) may cause inner seal failureTurn bearing(s) several times during heating process for heating itthem properlyNOTE: Normally it takes approximately 10 minutes to heat up bearingSo, in the event of replacing bearing, it is recommended to start heating it prior to removalTwo bearings can be heated at the same time on one bearing heater
