Section 01 MAINTENANCE Subsection 02 (STORAGE)
Crank slowly or revolutions to lubricate cylindersReinstall the spark plugs and the outlet primer hose or air silencers
VEHICLE PROTECTION
Protect the vehicle with cover to prevent dust accumulation during storageCAUTION: The snowmobile has to be stored in cool and dry place and covered with an opaque but ventilated tarpaulinThis will prevent sun rays and grime from affecting plastic components and vehicle finishLift rear of vehicle until track is clear of the groundInstall on snowmobile mechanical standNOTE: Do not release track tension
WARNING
This procedure must only be performed in well-ventilated areaDo not run engine during storage period
COOLING SYSTEM
4-Stroke Models Antifreeze should be replaced for the storage period to prevent antifreeze deteriorationMake sure to perform an antifreeze density testCooling system must be filled with BOMBARDIER premixed coolant (PN 293 600 038) or with distilled water antifreeze solution (50 distilled water, 50 antifreeze)CAUTION: Improper antifreeze mixture might allow freezing of the liquid in the cooling system if vehicle is stored in area where freezing point is reachedThis would seriously damage the engineFailure to replace the antifreeze for storage may allow its degradation that could result in poor cooling when engine will be usedRefer to COOLING SYSTEM section
