TRACKTRACTION
The track used on the 2005 MX 440 REV is similar to past years but with some improvementsThe lug pattern and height are the same as the 2004 MX 440 REV with the lug height being 1" on the outside belts and 158" on the inside beltLug profile uses "cupped" design to ensure maximum tractionMajor improvements involve the increased number of track clips installedFor this year, there are clips placed on every bar instead of every 3rd bar as in the pastThis increases track efficiency and reduces torsional load on the drive sprockets and shaftISR rules prohibit an optional track in the stock 440 class this yearTrack changes may be done in the Mod Classes, the recommended track is similar to the stock 440 track except it useslug all the way acrossThe recommended track part number is 504 152 168Most aftermarket traction companies offer products specifically for this type of trackContact the traction companies for recommended traction products and patterns to suit your needs
