Installation
Install new brake pads Install spring and push pins to lock the brake pads Install retainers in the pin holesTo install brake, reverse removal procedure pay attention to the following
Open chaincase and remove upper sprocket Pull countershaft no3 toward driven pulley side to free from chaincase and disc Remove discCOUNTERSHAFT BEARING REMOVAL Unbolt bearing support no2Install screws on the remover (PN 529 035 699)
WARNING
Avoid getting oil on brake padsEach time new caliper or new brake pads are installed, proceed with the following: With caliper not bolted to chaincase, apply brake few times until both new pads are touching each other Push back pads and repeat above step Push back pads then fasten caliper to chaincase Proceed with bleeding as described in this subsectionA33D0WA
