The two pictures shown below are showing how the helix angles are called out and how they are measuredThe first picture shown is full progressive stamped as "F" on helix (example 54-40- F)The second picture refers to partial or .46 as most of our helix's are called out (example 58-44.46During the transition zone the angle is constantly changingThe angle will remain constant once the shift pattern passes through the transition zonePoint of which 2nd angle on cam is achieved Angles constantly change from 1st to 2nd angle on cam through entire shift pattern
