GENERAL
When the start button is pressed, signal is sent to the starting solenoidThe battery then supplies current to the starter through the starting solenoid to turn the engineIn case of problems, first ensure the problem is not related to engine mechanical componentsIf not, test the starting systemNOTE: Make sure problem is not related with enginePull rewind starter, engine should rotate normallyIf not, problem is not related with starting systemCauses of problems are not necessarily related to starter but may be due to burnt fuse, faulty battery, start button, engine cut-out switch, starting solenoid, electrical cables and connections or the electronic moduleNOTE: The flooded engine mode can be used to accomplish some tests, to avoid engine starting or injecting fuel in the engineRefer to ENGINE MANAGEMENT for more details on this feature
