1Fuel rail 2Fuel injectors
Disconnect wiring harness from the four fuel injectorsRemove the harness support from the fuel railNOTE: It is not necessary to cut the tie raps of the harness supportUnscrew rail retaining nutsGently pull rail up by hand, working each side slightly at timePull rail out with fuel injectors1 3
NOTE: thin film of engine oil should be applied to O-rings to ease fuel injector installation in fuel rail and cylindersInsert injectors with your handDo not use any toolEnsure clip and injector are properly installedTorque rail retaining nuts to 10 Nm (89 lbfin)When installing fuel line connector to the fuel rail, put some oil on the O-ring to ease installationAttach the harness support to the fuel railAdd dielectric grease (PN 293 550 004) to injector electrical connectorReconnect fuel injector connectorsNOTE: The grey colored connectors are for cylinder MAG side
