ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP PRESSURE TEST
Before proceeding to the pressure test, ensure the battery is fully chargedBattery voltage must be over 12 voltsRelease the fuel pressure in the system using B.U.D.SRefer to the Activation tab529 035 591
WARNING
The fuel hose may be under pressureCover the fuel line connection with an absorbent shop ragSlowly disconnect the fuel hose to release the pressureWipe off any fuel spillage inside engine compartmentThe pressure test will show the available pressure at the fuel pump outletIt validates the pressure regulator, the fuel pump and leaks in the systemEnsure there is no leak from hoses and fittingsRepair any leakEnsure there is enough gas in fuel tankDisconnect outlet hose from fuel pumpRemove plastic clip (PN 275 500 429) from male fitting of pressure gauge (PN 529 035 591)Install the clip on male fitting of fuel rail inlet hose
