If resistance value is incorrect, repair the connectors or replace the wiring harness between ECM connector and the CTSCTS Sensor for Temperature Gauge Disconnect sensor connector and measure resistance value between BLACK and VIOLET wires of sensorIf resistance value is incorrect, replace CTS sensorIf resistance value is correct, check continuity of circuit and repair wiring harnessconnectors
Replacement
Lift rear of vehicle and securely supportDisconnect CTS connector and remove CTSInstall the new CTS and torque to 12 Nm (106 lbfin)Reinstall remaining removed partsRefill engine coolantIf an important quantity of coolant spilled, bleed cooling systemRefer to LIQUID COOLING SYSTEM section
