IN-TANK FUEL FILTER
Replacement
Drain fuel tankInstall hose pincher (PN 295 000 076) on supply hose then, unplug support hosePull out male connector no5 from grommet
Replace fuel filter and grommetTo facilitate the installation, grommet should be on smaller diameter of male connectorInstall grommet on fuel tank and push male connector through grommet
IN-LINE FUEL FILTER

WARNING
Fuel lines remain under pressure at all timesAlways proceed with care and use appropriate safety equipment when working on pressurized fuel systemWear safety glasses and work in well ventilated areaDo not allow fuel to spill on hot engine parts andor on electrical connectorsProceed with care when removinginstalling high pressure test equipment or disconnecting fuel line connectionsUse the VCK to release fuel pressure prior to removing hoseCover the fuel line connection with an absorbent shop ragSlowly disconnect the fuel hose to minimize spillingWipe off any fuel spillage in the engine compartmentFuel is flammable and explosive under certain conditionsAlways disconnect battery prior to working on the fuel systemFuel filter, inlet and outlet hoses come as an assemblyThe fuel filter no10 is located beside the steering column, next to coolant tankUsing B.U.D.Srelease the fuel pressureRefer to COMPONENT INSPECTION, REPLACEMENT AND ADJUSTMENTRemove console to gain access to top of fuel pump moduleDisconnect both ends of fuel filter lineUnfasten clip retaining fuel line to fuse box supportUnscrew the fuel filter support nut then remove the filterThe installation is the reverse of removal procedure
