Liquid-cooled Models Before processing with the oil pump cable adjustment, verify throttle cable adjustmentRefer to CARBURETOR AND THROTTLE CABLE or COMPONENT INSPECTION, REPLACEMENT AND ADJUSTMENT (SDI models)Depress the throttle lever lightly until the cable is under tension but carburetors or throttle body are not yet openedUsing feeler gauge, measure the visible distance between throttle lever and the end of cable housing

1Adjusting screw lock nut CVisible distance for oil pump adjustment
If the visible distance is less or more than "A""B", adjust cable distanceTo do so, loosen lock nut, turn adjusting screw in or out and retighten lock nut
