Rear Radiator and Rear Radiator Protector
Refer to FRAME for rear radiator removalinstallation proceduresFor cleaning and inspection refer to FRONT RADIATOR
Refilling Procedure
IMPORTANT: USE THE PREMIXED COOLANT (PN 293 600 038)Do not reinstall pressure capWith engine cold, refill coolant tank up to COLD LEVEL lineStart engineRefill up to line while engine is idling until rear radiators are warm to the touch (about to minutes)Always monitor coolant level while filling tank to avoid emptyingInstall pressure capLift rear of vehicle and support it safelyActivate throttle levertimes to bring engine speed to 7000 RPMApply the brakeLower vehicle back on ground and add coolant up to 15 mm (12 in) above the COLD LEVEL line
Radiator and Radiator Protector
Insert radiator protector no7 into radiator C-rail and crimp C-rail at rear endRefer to FRAME for radiator no6 removal
Thermostat
For disassembly of thermostat no5, drain the cooling system (see above)Unscrew clamp no11 retaining hose no12 to the water outlet socketRemove: water outlet socket screws gasket thermostatTo check thermostat, put in water and heat waterThermostat should start to open when water temperature reaches the following degreeTo check thermostat, put in water and heat waterThermostat should start to open when water temperature reaches the following degreeENGINE All TEMPERATURE 42C (108F)
