Inspection
Always check stator no3 before changing itRefer to CHARGING SYSTEM
Cleaning
Clean all metal components in non-ferrous metal cleanerCAUTION: Clean stator using only clean cloth
Removal
Remove: magneto flywheel no1 all Allen socket screws no4 retaining stator to magneto housing grommet from crankcase where CPStrigger coils no5 and stator wires exit magneto housingUnplug the CPStrigger coil connectors and pull the wires through the grommet locationNOTE: To pass the stator connector into the grommet location it is necessary to pass the CPStrigger coil connector firstUnplug the stator connector and remove the stator no3A32E0KA
1Crankcase recess 2Wire protectors
NOTE: During installation, make sure the stator harness is located on the left sideApply Loctite 243 (blue) (PN 293 800 060) on threads of stator screws then torque them to Nm (80 lbfin)Reinstall all other removed parts
