Compare readings with those appearing in the IGNITION tableVoltage Testing When manually starting the engine while the spark plug is installed, the engine will tend to accelerate beyond the compression pointThis will result in higher magneto output power Disconnect housing between the magneto and the MPEM Connect multimeter probes to appropriate wiresRefer to corresponding ignition and electrical system testing table in this subsectionBring the selector switch to and the scale to 00.0 Vac Activate the manual starter and check values indicated by the multimeter Repeat operation times Compare readings with those appearing in the IGNITION table
