WARNING
Ensure rubber boot completely covers the RED cable end and battery post prior to lifting the battery to prevent any possible spark if bare cablepost were touching metallic part of the vehicleSlowly lift the battery to expose BLACK negative cable connectionDisconnect the BLACK negative cable from battery postSlide away the rubber boot from the RED cable connectionDisconnect RED positive cable from the battery postRemove the battery
