If short beeps are not heard when starting the engine, refer to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURESThe following continuity tests can also be performed using an ohmmeterDisconnect switch wires
Tether Cord Cap Removed
Connect test probes to switch BLACKGREEN and BLACKWHITE wiresMeasure resistance, there should be NO continuity (open circuit)Connect one test probe to the WHITEGREY wire and the other test probe to the switch top terminalMeasure resistance, it must be close to ohmConnect one test probe to the BLACKGREEN wire and the other test probe to the switch ringMeasure resistance, it must be close to ohm
