Unbolt battery cover steel strip and remove battery cover

Battery BLACK negative cable must always be disconnected first and connected last

Never charge or boost battery while installed on vehicleBefore removing battery, remove air silencer to get access to the batteryUnlock the spring lock and remove intake cover and tube plate from the air silencerRemove pulley guard to get access to air intake adaptor collars clamps of air silencerLoose clamps and remove air silencer2 1
