Section 05 TRANSMISSION Subsection 03 (DRIVE PULLEY)
Install spring no4, cover no3Tighten cover screws no2 to 12 Nm (106 lbfin)Proceed with one screw per tower in criss-cross sequence then, remaining three screwsUse puller (PN 529 025 000) to unlock drive pulley from retainer
NOTE: It is of the utmost importance to use thick flat washers no18 with self-tapping screws no17 in order not to pierce inner fixed half with the screwsCAUTION: Loctite 271 (red) (PN 293 800 005) must be applied to safely assemble ring gearTorque screws in criss-cross sequence to 27 Nm (20 lbfft)

Install drive pulley on crankshaftInstall new lock washerTorque retaining screw to 68 Nm (50 lbfft)Reinstall driven pulley, drive belt and belt guardRefasten bottom pan center and rear attachments on left hand sideRaise the rear of the vehicle and support it with mechanical stand
