GENERAL
Some drive pulley components can be changed to improve vehicle performance in high altitude regionsA Service Bulletin will give information about calibration according to altitudeCAUTION: Such modifications should only be performed by experience mechanics since they can greatly affect vehicle performance
REMOVAL
WARNING
Never use an impact wrench to remove or install the drive pulleyUnfasten center and rear bottom pan attachments on left hand sideRemove belt guardOpen driven pulley using driven pulley opening tool (PN 529 017 200)Remove drive beltUse holder (PN 529 006 400)Make sure holder hook is positioned on top of tower529 006 400

MAINTENANCE
Cam Arm Pivot Nut
At first 10-hour (500 km) cam arm pivot nuts no15 have to be retightenTo do so, loosen one turn all cover screws no2Retighten to 5.6 Nm (50 lbfin) maximum all three pivot nuts no15Make sure cam arms no12 can still move on their pivot bolts no11Retighten cover screws no2 to 12 Nm (106 lbfin)Proceed with one screw per tower in criss-cross sequence then, remaining three screws
