CHECKING NEUTRAL FUNCTION
WARNING
Always check neutral function when servicingApply parking brakeVehicle must be on the ground and on plane level surfaceNo one should be in front of vehicleAttach vehicle tether cord to your clothingStand aside of vehicle then, start engine
Check the drive belt widthReplace the drive belt if width is less than the minimum width recommended (see table above)
ROTATION DIRECTION
The maximum drive belt life span is obtained when the drive belt is installed as shownThis will ensure that correct direction of rotation is respected
