ASSEMBLY
1, Spring Clip
Always check for spring clips tightness
Install the check valve in the correct position as described on next photo into the crankcase lower side
6, Oil Pump Gear
At gear assembly, apply light coat of Molykote 111 (PN 413 707 000) on gear teethB A
7, Needle Roller (fan cooled engine only)
The needle roller must be engaged as deep as possible in the pump mounting flange
Torque to Nm (44 lbfin)Cable plastic elbow must be fastened and fully insertedMake sure cable barrel is well seated in oil pump leverSecure barrel with plastic washer and circlipInstall cable lock washer on lever sideVerify cable and oil pump lever operation
