NOTE: Prior to coating it with Loctite, make sure check valve body is clean and dryClean from dirt or oil, if any, with Pulley flange cleaner (PN 413 711 809)
Torque to Nm (44 lbfin)Cable plastic elbow must be fastened and fully insertedMake sure cable barrel is well seated in oil pump leverSecure barrel with plastic washer and circlipInstall cable lock washer on left side of supportVerify cable and oil pump lever operation
ADJUSTMENT
CAUTION: Proper oil injection pump adjustment is very importantAny delay in the opening of the pump can result in serious engine damagePrior to adjusting the pump, make sure all carburetor adjustments are completed and engine is stoppedStretch the adjusting cable through maximum force of 32 Nm (7.2 lbfft)NOTE: It is better to have two persons to check the cable distanceCheck the visible distance of the stretched cable, while one person is stretching it and other checking the distance
