CRANKSHAFT END-PLAY
All Engine Types End-play is not adjustable but it should be between 0.100.30 mm (.004.012 in)
NOTE: Crankshaft deflection cannot be correctly measured between centers of latheIf the deflection exceeds the specified tolerance, crankshaft should be repaired or replaced
CHECKING CRANKSHAFT ALIGNMENT
Install degree wheel (PN 529 035 607) on crankshaft endRemove both spark plugsInstall TDC gauge (PN 414 104 700) in spark plug hole on MAG sideBring MAG piston at top dead centerRotate degree wheel (not crankshaft) so that 360 mark aligns with center of crankcaseScribe mark on crankcaseRemove TDC gauge and install it on center cylinderBring PTO piston to top dead centerDegree wheel must rotate with crankshaft10 20 30 40 50 60 70
