SECTION 03CHASSIS PREPARATION
TRACK GUIDES
Additional taller track guides (PN 486 078 200) should be installed when oval racing with heavily studded trackThese taller guides help prevent derailing without having to overly tighten the trackWhen in turn, the side loads on the guides are extremely high and it is advantageous to reduce the load per guide by adding more of the guidesAll of the flat cleats should be removed from the right side of the track and replaced with guide cleats(See drawing)0B=oSB 0BPL;?B T:6W 486 078 200

SKIS AND RUNNERS
The skis on your Ski-Doo are not flat on their bottoms, they are slightly convexThis is done to improve stability at high speed on straightawaysThe plastic ski on the MX and MX incorporates more of its use (rocker effect)This plastic ski will work very well on snowy surfaces as it increases flotation and reduces dragFor oval and Ice Lemans, the new profile is superior to the steel skiA B
