Section 08 REAR SUSPENSION Subsection 03 (DRIVE AXLE)
REMOVAL
Remove battery (if so equipped) to gain access, refer to BATTERY sectionDrain oil from chaincaseRemove chaincase coverRelease drive chain tension

Apply parking brakeRemove chain and sprockets then circlip from right sideRelease drive axle sprocket from track and at the same time, push the drive axle no3 toward the right sideDrive axle bearing no1 in chaincase will fall off
Raise and block rear of vehicle off the groundRemove suspensionRefer to proper subsectionOn some models, track can be held in tunnel using rod in place of center idler wheel axle
