Remove the input no2 and output no3 shafts togetherRemove the fork axle no4Discard all oil sealsUse workshop press to remove ball bearings from shafts
INSPECTION
Bearings
Check bearing conditionThere must be no discoloration, missing balls or rollers, broken cages, etc Replace damaged bearings
Sprockets and Gears
Check teeth and splinesReplace damaged parts

When pressing the LH side ball bearing, respect side play of 0.2 to 0.4 mm (.008 to .016 in) between input shaft counterbore and the sprocket
