Section 06 TRANSMISSION Subsection 05 (BRAKE)
CALIPER
There is one caliper installed on each side of the vehicleProcedure for LH and RH side caliper is the sameProcedure for LH side is provided below
To completely drain the brake fluid, continuously press the brake lever until all liquid escaped outCAUTION: Spilling brake fluid on plastic, rubber or painted parts can cause severe damageProtect these parts with rag when servicing brake systemPlace container under caliperDo not remove the Banjo bolt no7 during drainingWhen the system is empty, remove the Banjo boltDiscard the sealing washers no8
Removal
Remove the plastic molding
Inspection
Remove brake pads no9, refer further in this sectionCheck pistons for scratchesrust or other damagesIf so, replace the caliper as an assemblyNOTE: Only brake pads are available as spare partsA34D0XA

Installation
Push pistons all the way in to allow caliper installation over brake discInstall the Banjo bolt no7 with two new sealing rings no8Fill the brake system and bleed itRefer to BLEEDING in this section
