FUEL RAIL ASS'Y 1Fuel injector 2Injector clip 3O-ring

Then remove the injector clipNow the fuel injector can be easily pulled out of the fuel railInstallation For the installation, reverse the removal procedurePaying attention to the following detailsIf you reinstall used injector, carefully inspect O-ring condition before reinstalling fuel injectorReplace O-ring with new one if damagedInsert the fuel injector in place with your handNOTE: thin film of engine oil should be applied to O-rings to ease insertion in railApply Loctite 243 on rail retaining screws then torque to 10 Nm (89 lbfin)
IMPORTANT: When the ECM ECU is replaced, the Closed Throttle and Idle Actuator must be reprogrammedresetRefer to its specific section for adjustmentTo allow transferring the previous recorded information from the old ECM ECU or VCM to the new one, use the vehicle communication kit (VCK) with the B.U.D.SsoftwareUse Replace ECM or VCM in the Module menuFollows instructions in its help systemNOTE: If the old ECM ECU or VCM is working, it must be read inside B.U.D.Sprior to removing it from the vehicle to carry vehicle information and history to the new ECM ECU or VCM Otherwise, perform the operations described in If the previous VCM was not read with B.U.D.Sbelow
