Loosely install screwsInstall chain tensionerNOTE: There can be different positions to install the timing gear on the camshaftBasically both positions are working well, since the camshaft and crankshaft are locked in their proper positionDue to some tolerances, there could be one position which fits better than the other oneTo check this, perform the following testCheck if screws are still looseIf screws are squeezed by the timing gear, remove the chain tensioner again and rotate timing gear by one tooth clockwiseThen install the chain tensioner againTighten screws and torque to 10 Nm (88 lbfin)Remove locking toolsCAUTION: Crankshaft and camshaft must be locked on TDC position to place camshaft timing gear and timing chain in the proper positionTo double check, take look at the timing gear linesThey must be parallel to the cylinder head surface1 1
