CLEANING AND INSPECTION
All Models The entire carburetor should be cleaned with general solvent and dried with compressed air before disassemblyCAUTION: Heavy duty carburetor cleaner may be harmful to the float material and to the rubber parts, O-rings, etcTherefore, it is recommended to remove those parts prior to cleaningCarburetor body and jets should be cleaned in carburetor cleaner following manufacturer's instructionsWhen jets are very dirty or coated with varnish and gum, replace them

Disconnect both lines from carburetor assembly taking care to recuperate coolantAll Models Disconnect throttle and choke cablesLoosen clamps retaining dual carburetor assembly to carburetor socketsGently slide out securing strap (if so equipped)CAUTION: Securing strap between carburetors has to be gently slid out to avoid breakageWARNING
