NOTE: light pressure should be needed to position tool under plungerTighten choke cable lock nut and reinstall protector capSet choke lever to close and open positions and ensure that tool properly seats under plunger only when lever is set to half open positionSet choke lever to close position and, by pulling and pushing choke lever, make sure there is no tension on cable (free play)
Idle Speed Final Adjustment
CAUTION: Before starting engine for the final idle adjustment, make sure that oil pump is adjustedThe oil injection pump adjustment must be checked after each time carburetor idle is adjustedRefer to OIL INJECTION SYSTEMStart engine and allow it to warm then adjust idle speed to specifications by turning idle speed screw clockwise to increase engine speed or counterclockwise to decrease itRefer to TECHNICAL DATA for the specificationsNOTE: Turn adjustment screw the same amount on each carburetor to keep carburetors synchronizedCAUTION: Do not attempt to set the idle speed by using the air screwSevere engine damage can occur
