Secure barrel with plastic washer and circlipInstall cable lock washer on left side of supportVerify cable and oil pump lever operation
ADJUSTMENT
Fan Cooled Engines Prior to adjusting the pump, make sure all carburetor adjustments are completed and engine is stoppedEliminate the throttle cable free-play by pressing the throttle lever until light resistance is felt, then hold in placeThe mark on the pump casting and on the lever must alignWidth of lever mark is the toleranceLoosen the adjuster nut and adjust accordinglyRetighten the adjuster nutNOTE: It is better to have two persons to check the cable distanceCheck the visible distance of the stretched cable, while one person is stretching it and other checking the distance
