STEERING COLUMN IN FORWARD POSITION 1Longer bolt
TYPICAL 1Large connector housings
Remove consoleRemove bolts no5 retaining top of steering column
Reinstall the bolts no5Always install the longer bolt on thicker portion to be boltedUse new lock nutsTorque nuts to 25 Nm (18 lbfft)Reconnect the electrical connectors and reinstall all removed partsPosition of console cap will be invertedInstead of being above it will be beneath steering column
