Section 04 ENGINE (CARBURETOR AND FUEL PUMP)

All Models Loosen clamps retaining air silencer adapter to carburetor assembly and remove air silencerHeated Carburetor Models Close valve at heated carburetor coolant inlet lineRemove dual carburetor assembly, pinch and disconnect fuel lineTake care to recuperate fuel
WARNING
Fuel is flammable and explosive under certain conditionsAlways wipe off any fuel or oil spillage from the vehicleEnsure work area is well ventilatedDo not smoke or allow open flames or sparks in the vicinityPinch heated carburetor coolant outlet line
