DRIVE BELT HEIGHT MEASUREMENT AND ADJUSTMENT
Measurement
Before checking the belt height, ensure that good-condition proper belt (refer to the application chart) is installedAdjust pulley distance and alignmentRefer to PULLEY DISTANCE AND ALIGNMENTTo obtain maximum vehicle performance, the belt height must be adjusted according to specifications shown in the accompanying chartMODEL All models BELT HEIGHT Top edge of drive belt cord should be flush with driven pulley edge
To raise belt in driven pulley: turn Allen screws counterclockwiseNOTE: Turn Allen screws 14 turn at time, then rotate driven pulley to allow drive belt to settle in pulleyCheck height, repeat as required
